Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-site teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain brand standards across daily operations at our New Jersey plazas.

You will oversee opening, mid, and closing procedures, manage cash handling, train new staff, and ensure food safety and product quality while supporting cross-functional tasks and daily performance targets.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all policies.
