Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift team members, ensure top‑notch customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. You will train new hires and monitor cash handling compliance across plaza operations.

The role requires experience in cash handling and leadership, with flexibility for days, nights, weekends and holidays. Join a fast-paced team focused on guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow all cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing and temperature checks.
• Complete kitchen tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all company policies and procedures.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations, concerns, or problems.
• Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
