Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Edison, NJ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams and ensure exceptional customer service. You will train new team members, manage cash handling, and ensure compliance with brand and food safety standards while maintaining POS operations.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, passing on accurate cash handling, and supervising staff to deliver high-quality food and service across the plaza.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including labeling, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prepping and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Train new team members.
