Smashburger is hiring a Shift Leader in California to oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house teams and uphold guest service standards. You will drive a positive, energetic work environment and ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, people management, and training abilities, with readiness to train staff using SmashConnect and LMS, and to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or restaurant operations preferred.
• Ability to supervise multiple teams and shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of FOH & BOH employees.
• Promote a fun and positive work environment.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing training to staff using SmashConnect and LMS.
• Ensure all food safety standards and health regulations are followed.
• Oversee guest experience metrics (NPS/OSAT) and respond to feedback.
• Control labor and scheduling per company policies.
