Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store management in sales, customer service, and store operations. You will also take on shift leadership responsibilities when managers are unavailable, ensuring smooth daily operations.

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders and contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the electronic ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule and proper clocking in/out.
• Perform opening/closing duties and day end procedures, manage money/deposits, and secure premises and shipments.
• Carry out all other duties as assigned.
