Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of the Store Manager.

• Retail/sales experience or relevant knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution.
• Answer phones per policy and manage order transfers and shipments.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store transfers; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Manage returns and exchanges with correct refunds and proper processing.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and appointments are set.
• Oversee opening/closing duties and security procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
