Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position may assume shift management in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail auto parts sales experience, automotive systems knowledge, and ASE/RSS certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge favorable.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure adherence to programs.
• Handle shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Manage returns/exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and ensure proper merchandising and invoicing before product leaves the store.
• Oversee store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
