Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, service, and store operations. The role includes shift management in their absence and requires strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred, auto parts background encouraged.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom including program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and in a friendly manner; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures; perform opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
