Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding is seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure outstanding guest service by following The Hi Five Guest Experience. This full-time role (37–40 hours/week) may include 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift and pays $14.75–$16.75 per hour.

You will lead and coach associates, manage store administration, and ensure safe, compliant operations while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for every guest. Experience with POS and gas transactions is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage other associates, coach and train shift leaders and guest services staff.
• Oversee store administration: ordering, weekly delivery reports, and paperwork as directed by Store Manager.
• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience: greet guests, maintain readiness, anticipate needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare DipSide items and manage ice cream/yogurt prep as needed.
• Operate POS system and gas console, process transactions, and handle cash and coupons.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure proper display, cleanliness, and temperature controls.
• Maintain security, monitor for shoplifting, and adhere to cash control procedures.
• Maintain store and equipment, monitor refrigeration temperatures and overall cleanliness.
• Accurately complete time records and customer forms; assist with other duties as assigned.
• Ensure effective communication with customers and team to support smooth operations.
