Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee local fulfillment center operations, manage shifts, inventory, and safety, with light prep in some sites. You will lead a small team, delegate tasks, and ensure high-quality order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

You should be self-motivated, with strong team and communication skills, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. A food-handling certificate is encouraged and training provided. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in food and beverage, warehouse, or retail environments.
• Ability to stand, move, and lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Be an Owner: own shifts, warehouse/kitchen processes, safety, quality, and training.
• Delight Customers: ensure orders are accurate and communicate issues.
• Lead: guide Operations Associates and escalate daily operations.
• One Team One Fight: support warehouse and kitchen tasks and maintain a safe atmosphere.
• Help improve operations: contribute ideas to improve quality and customer experience.
