Job summary

DoorDash USA is seeking a motivated Shift Lead to manage local fulfillment center shifts, guide Operations Associates, and ensure accurate order fulfillment and safety. The role supports both warehouse and light-prep kitchen tasks, with emphasis on inventory control and customer satisfaction.

Qualified candidates will have experience in food or retail environments, be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., and be willing to obtain a food handling certificate provided by DoorDash.

Qualifications

• Experience in food, warehouse, or retail environments.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a pallet jack/hand truck.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of shifts, inventory, safety, and training.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and communicate with customers.
• Lead Operations Associates and escalate daily operations.
• Support warehouse and kitchen tasks and maintain a safe, productive environment.
• Contribute ideas to improve quality and customer experience.
