Job summary

DoorDash's DashMart in Milwaukee is seeking a motivated Shift Lead to operate in a fast-paced local fulfillment center, overseeing orders, inventory, safety and training, and coordinating warehouse and light kitchen duties.

You will own shifts, ensure quality, delegate tasks, support team, and help improve operations while delivering a high-quality experience to customers and Dashers. This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college diploma not required.
• Must be 18+ years old and physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
• Willingness to obtain a food handling certificate (training provided).
• Experience in food, warehouse, or retail environments preferred.
• Organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned shifts, including warehouse and kitchen processes, safety, quality and training.
• Maintain accountability for inventory and equipment and protect assets.
• Lead Operations Associates to ensure safe, productive work and escalation handling.
• Support both warehouse and light kitchen tasks; engage with team and customers.
• Suggest ideas to improve quality and customer experience.
