Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospitals is seeking a Shift Lead to provide leadership and paraprofessional support across all shifts, ensuring the hospital runs smoothly and client care remains top-rate.

You will balance leadership duties with hands-on tasks as a CSC or veterinary assistant, coordinate staff, maintain patient safety, and support Practice Manager and COS to communicate with clients and field leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or veterinary technician certification/licensure preferred.
• Two years experience in healthcare, veterinary profession, or service-type industry required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate paraprofessional staff across shifts.
• Assist with veterinary assistant/technician duties and client service.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper medical record keeping.
