Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospitals is seeking a Shift Lead to perform the duties of a CSC and veterinary assistant, while providing leadership across shifts to ensure continuous client care and hospital productivity. You will coordinate paraprofessional staff and support hospital leadership to maximize service quality and profitability, in collaboration with the Practice Manager and Chief of Staff.

The role blends paraprofessional clinical work (about 80%) with leadership duties (about 20%), including

Qualifications

• Associate degree or veterinary technician certification preferred.
• Two years experience in healthcare, veterinary or service industry.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Medical background with veterinary terminology training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CSC and/or veterinary assistant duties, helping client care and hospital operations.
• Lead paraprofessional staff and coordinate with Practice Manager and COS for communication.
