Job summary

N/A Shift Leader role directs daily store operations in the absence of store management, opening/closing the store, protecting assets, and monitoring team performance to ensure safety, sanitation, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include directing staff, handling cash, processing exchanges, completing reports, and assisting in other departments as needed. Requires high school diploma, basic math, English fluency, reliability, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in basic math (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division).
• Reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service oriented with problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to procedures.
• Direct and monitor day-to-day activities of store team members.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly manner.
• Resolve customer complaints, including exchanges and refunds.
• Document complaints and follow up to fix root causes.
• Perform cash handling, till prep, cash drops and gift card sales/returns.
• Complete electronic store reports and bag/video checks.
• Perform cashier duties as needed.
• Escalate discipline, cash discrepancies, attendance, and performance issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and stocking.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and loss prevention.
• Participate in selection interviews but no hiring authority.
• Other duties including cross-department work as assigned.
