Job summary

Walgreens Co. is hiring for a key holder/retail associate to open and close the store when management is not available, manage cash handling, and ensure the floor and back stock are ready for business.

You will greet customers, assist with products, and resolve issues to deliver a superior shopping experience. Responsibilities include participating in vendor deliveries, pricing tasks, basic bookkeeping, and maintaining store condition and signage in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Arrest and conviction records may be considered.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and ensures floor and stock room are ready for the day.
• Handles cash tasks including returns, refunds, cash drops, and providing change to registers.
• Engages customers to deliver a distinctive and delightful experience and resolves issues.
