Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area seeks a Shift Lead to support store operations and uphold our mission. You will supervise team members, ensure customer service excellence, and help maintain safety and store standards.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 6 months supervisory experience preferred, strong English communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Bilingual abilities are a plus; reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior retail experience or customer service/relations experience preferred.
• 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; bilingual a plus.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store personnel during assigned shift to ensure operational standards are met.
• Develop, train, coach, and support store associates for career growth within the organization.
• Comply with agency policies and SOPs and safety rules and procedures.
• Greet, assist, and provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Resolve complaints and communicate issues to the management team.
• Maintain store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
• Attend meetings and training as required by the agency.
