Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Management in sales, customer service, appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the manager's absence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Essential duties include leading customer service, supervising showroom service levels, processing orders, handling returns, and ensuring proper invoicing and adherence to schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge desired.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure proper execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered per company policy.
• Manage buy online/ship to store, transfers, and add orders efficiently and communicate shipments.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure with proper ledger use.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and efficiently, issue refunds with correct methods.
• Invoicing of all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to work schedules and clock-in/out policies; perform opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
