Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member in Shawnee, KS to open and close the store when management isn’t present, handle cash and returns, and ensure the floor and stockroom are ready for business. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help with product recommendations to create a memorable shopping experience.

Responsibilities include supporting inventory accuracy, assisting with vendor deliveries, pricing signage, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including necessary systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers, greet and assist with products and services, resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Model customer service best practices and assist in displays, pricing, and promotions.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with vendor deliveries and backroom processes.
