Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an individual to lead store operations in the absence of management, handle cash and POS duties, and ensure a smooth start to the business day. The role emphasizes customer service excellence and inventory control across both floor and backroom areas.

The position requires at least one year in a leadership or key-holder capacity and fluency in English. Knowledge of inventory control and pharmacy certification/licensing requirements is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members to ensure a positive customer experience.
