Job summary

New City Microcreamery in Hudson or Sudbury is seeking a part-time Shift Lead to supervise Front of House operations, mentor scoopers, and manage opening or closing duties.

Availabilities include 11am–4pm or 6pm, and evening shifts, with 2–5 shifts per week across weekdays, weekends and holidays. This role requires strong leadership in a high-volume environment and a passion for guest experience.

Responsibilities

Here at New City Microcreamery, we feel that above all else, it’s the peoplethat matter most. Our incredible staff are the crown jewels of New City and we're looking for an aspiring leader to join our team part-time year-round as a Shift Lead at our Sudbury or Hudson location.

*Note: You must have availability to work 11am-4pm or 6pm, AND/OR evening availability 4pm or 6pm-Close, including weekdays and weekends, and be able to work 2-5 shifts per week.

Your playground:

• Supervising Front of House operations
• Mentoring and training scoopers

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Mentoring and training prowess
• Communication wizardry for conflict resolution and team direction
• Strong attention to detail. We use Restaurant365, Toast, and Paycom to streamline processes.

Your schedule:

• 2-5 Shifts per week, 12-32 hours/week.
• Daytime or Evening shifts available
• Weekdays, and some weekends and holidays

As for the perks:

• Pay rate: $16/hour to start, plus tips (Tip game strong, adding $6-$10/hour extra to your pocket - varies by location)
