Job summary

Sweet Cow Ice Cream is seeking a Shift Lead in Boulder to guide a friendly team in a fast-paced ice cream shop. You’ll coach, support, and inspire crew while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include managing shift flow, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency, handling POS transactions, and fostering a positive, energetic shop atmosphere that reflects our community values.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the full shift.
• Can work at least 3 shifts per week (15+ hrs) with open availability.
• Six months of experience delegating and coordinating two or more employees.

Responsibilities

Assistant and General Manager – build and grow strong shop teams and community relationships

What We Need from You:

• Can work at least 3 shifts per week (15+ hrs)


• Open availability. We need team members with flexible availability.


• Able to lift up to 50 lbs & stand for the full shift


• 18+ years old


• Commitment to schedule adherence, continued training, and growth


• Have at least six months of experience delegating and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees


• Have at least six (6) months of experience in a related service industry

Regardless of how many shifts you want to work, your availability must include:

• 4 daytime shifts (open-4 pm) Mon-Fri


• OR


• 2+ closing shifts Mon-Thu, 2+ closing shifts Fri-Sun, and 1+ daytime shifts Sat-Sun

Compensation:

• $23 per hour ($15.00 per hour + $8.00/hr average in tips)
