Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Oregon City to lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and drive standards across the squad. You will be the senior member on shift, guiding the team to deliver excellent guest experiences and smooth daily operations.

You will deploy staff, coach, and ensure adherence to MOD policies while supporting program rollouts and maintaining a positive MOD experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Have a proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proven success in following and enforcing processes and standards; correcting and coaching in a compassionate manner.
• Have the ability to be a calming presence in periods of high volume.
• You must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
• You should be proficient in written and oral communication.
• Have the ability to support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for all new hires, program rollouts, and standards in your restaurant.
• Be the most senior squad member on shift and ensure the team performs all essential tasks, delivers outstanding guest experiences, and contributes to smooth operations.
• Provide feedback, answer questions, and give guidance; model MOD’s purpose in all interactions.
• Flex to restaurant needs, sometimes leading, sometimes doing, while maintaining the MOD experience.
• Deploy the right squad member to the right task and adjust plans to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad members and support new program rollouts and initiatives.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals, including online ordering, catering, fundraising, and customer review systems.
• Ensure food safety using MOD tools and standards in both Back of House and Front of House.
• Escalate issues to the AM or GM as appropriate and resolve squad member or guest concerns.
