Job summary

Planet Fitness in Maine is seeking a Front Desk Leader responsible for delivering exceptional member service and guiding the member service staff on shift. You will greet members, assist with check-ins, signups, and class information while maintaining a welcoming, judgment-free environment.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to handle daily duties from POS transactions to class promotion, ensuring a clean and friendly facility for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency with an eye for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to members and guests.
• Greet members, check in, sign up new members, log amenities and communicate updates and events.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Operate POS for beverage or merchandise purchases.
• Explain and promote fitness instruction classes to members and guests.
• Adhere to policies and complete end-of-shift documentation.
• Assist in emergencies and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
• Lead by example and communicate changes to staff as needed.
