Job summary

Planet Fitness - Portland ME Group is seeking a customer-focused Front Desk Associate to welcome members and guests and maintain a clean, friendly environment. You will greet patrons, check in members, assist with sign-ups, answer questions, and handle point-of-sale transactions with accuracy while promoting our Judgement Free philosophy.

Work includes assisting with class schedules, notifying members of updates, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards across the club.

Qualifications

• Positive, friendly attitude and outstanding customer service.
• Basic computer skills to operate POS and member systems.
• Punctuality and reliability are required.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, provide exceptional customer service and welcome them.
• Answer phones and assist callers with questions in a friendly manner.
• Check members in, sign up new members, and log amenities.
• Process sales at the point of sale and promote classes.
• Uphold cleanliness, safety, and the Judgement Free environment.
