Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable manager to lead store operations, train crew, and deliver WOW customer service. You will ensure a fast, friendly checkout and high guest satisfaction every day.

You will supervise daily activities, open/close the store, support onboarding, and partner with leadership on merchandising and standards. This hourly role starts at $11.50 with growth opportunities in a high‑energy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowed customers through personal contact; trains crew on the B.E.S.T. service.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure effective performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, organizing stock for fast floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations and staff.
• Manage opening/closing procedures including cash handling and security.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partner with leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Perform maintenance such as cleaning and stock room upkeep.
