Job summary

Anchor Point Management Group is seeking a shift leader in Tallmadge, OH. This hourly role provides additional management coverage, directly supervising operations, and ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.

The shift leader may close the restaurant and occasionally open it when needed, while training staff and modeling excellent behavior. The role focuses on customer service, accurate order taking, food safety, and maintaining operations to standard across shifts.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Arrive to work on time with reliable transportation.
• Positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Prepare and package food and drinks per standards.
• Operate cash registers and handle payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant (front and back of house).
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Promote new menu items and provide recommendations.
• Assist with opening and closing tasks.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair treatment and legal compliance.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Report safety concerns to manager/HR.
• Conduct daily food safety and prep audits.
• Conduct daily inventory monitors and assist with cash procedures.
