Job summary

Applegreen Group in New Jersey is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams at our busy travel plazas.

You will ensure exceptional customer service, train new team members, manage cash handling, and maintain brand standards, food safety, and daily opening/closing procedures.

This role requires a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Train new team members and maintain brand standards.
