Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a shift leader to provide management coverage during operating hours, supervise staff, and uphold high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, accuracy, and speed of service. This hourly role involves direct hands-on work, training teammates, and potentially opening or closing the restaurant when needed.

The candidate will help drive guest satisfaction, maintain safety, and model the right behaviors while ensuring shifts run to standard expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service business.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders with a friendly demeanor.
• Prepare and package food and drinks according to standards.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant, including back of house, lobby, and restrooms.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and policies.
• Promote new menu items and provide recommendations when asked.
• Assist with opening and closing tasks.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair treatment and compliance with laws.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Address safety concerns and report issues to manager/HR.
• Conduct daily food safety and prep audits and inventory checks.
