Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure top-notch customer service, and enforce brand standards and food safety policies. You will train new hires and monitor cash handling compliance.

The role emphasizes team leadership, operational routines, product knowledge, and proactive problem resolution in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments in line with policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
