Job summary

Velvet Taco is seeking an energetic Shift Leader to oversee hourly team members and interact with guests in a friendly, efficient manner.

You will execute opening and closing duties, manage cash handling and POS operations, and ensure a safe, clean, high-quality dining experience. The role requires leadership, multitasking, and a commitment to guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader/Supervisor in a Restaurant Environment.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage hourly team members and interact with guests in a friendly, professional way.
• Execute opening, mid, and closing duties per Velvet Taco procedures.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Perform cash handling, set up POS drawers, process comps and voids, and manage deposits during shifts.
• Model leadership and motivate team to follow procedures and maintain urgency for guest satisfaction.
• Support management with inventory and ensure food safety standards during shifts.
