Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is seeking a proactive Shift Lead to manage daily operations, lead team members, and ensure outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced coffee bar setting.

You will oversee opening/closing routines, cash handling, and inventory tasks while maintaining cleanliness and hospitality standards. The role requires minimum 1 year leadership and POS experience, a flexible schedule, and a strong commitment to team success.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role or directing others.
• 1 year POS/cash handling experience in related industry.
• Availability to work a minimum of three days per week including mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country where this job is located.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity, deploying tasks and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through engagement, craftsmanship, and service in a clean, welcoming coffeebar.
• Support team environment through clear communication, collaboration, accountability and professionalism.
• Open/close routines, cash handling, inventory tasks, and visual updates during shifts.
• Adapt to changing priorities with sound judgment and problem-solving to keep shifts running smoothly.
