Job summary

Peet's Coffee is hiring a Shift Lead to supervise daily operations and ensure top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will lead shifts, manage tasks, and uphold quality while maintaining a clean, welcoming coffeebar.

Requirements include at least 1 year of leadership experience, POS/cash handling duties, and availability of three days a week. Eligible to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years old; benefits include medical, 401k matching, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role or directing others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling responsibilities in related industry.
• Shift Leads must maintain a schedule availability of at least three days per week as required by business needs.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country where this job is located.
• Must comply with Peet's Employment of Minors policies and work with/minors.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Perform various physical tasks during the work shift.

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity by managing task deployment and day-to-day operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by modeling engagement, craft, and high product quality while keeping a welcoming coffeebar.

• Ensure operational excellence by executing opening/closing routines, cash handling, inventory tasks, and visual updates during shifts.
