Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is seeking a Shift Lead to manage daily operations, lead team members, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include cash handling, opening/closing tasks, inventory checks, and maintaining a welcoming coffee bar. Candidates should have 1 year leadership and POS experience, be 18+, and able to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role or directing others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling in related industry.
• Shift Leads must be available minimum three days a week (including mornings/evenings/weekends).
• Must be legally eligible to work where the job is located.
• Must comply with minior policies and work with minors when required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Perform various physical tasks during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clear task deployment in a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with engagement and high product quality.
• Support a positive team environment through clear communication and accountability.
• Open/close routines, cash handling, inventory tasks, and visual updates.
