Job summary

goop kitchen is seeking a Kitchen Shift Lead to oversee daily kitchen operations, coach the team in real time, own the quality of every plate, and step in wherever the kitchen needs you most.

You’ll master recipes across stations, train the team, assist with ordering and inventory, and uphold food safety standards. Fluency in Spanish/English is a plus; 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S. required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a fast-paced kitchen
• ServSafe certification (or equivalent food safety certification)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
• 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and lead kitchen staff, setting a positive and accountable shift
• Own the quality, consistency, and presentation of every dish
• Master recipes and techniques across stations to train and support the team
• Assist with ordering, invoices, and inventory to keep the kitchen running smoothly
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards throughout the shift
