Job summary

goop kitchen is seeking a Kitchen Shift Lead to keep daily kitchen operations running smoothly, coaching the team in real time and upholding high standards for food quality. You will own the presentation and consistency of every dish and support management with ordering and inventory as needed.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in a lead/supervisor role, strong leadership, ServSafe certification, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a kitchen.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification.
• Able to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and lead kitchen staff during shifts.
• Own the quality, consistency, and presentation of dishes.
• Master recipes and techniques across stations for training.
• Assist with ordering, invoices, and inventory to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards throughout the shift.
