Job summary

goop kitchen is seeking a Kitchen Shift Lead to supervise and coach a fast-paced team, ensuring every dish meets our certification standards. You will own quality, lead by example, and train staff across stations while supporting inventory and ordering processes.

The role requires 1+ year leading in a kitchen, ServSafe certification, and strong leadership and communication skills. Spanish/English bilingualism is a plus; expect a dynamic, health-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a fast-paced or wellness-focused kitchen
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to motivate a team
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety credential
• Comfort working in a hot, fast-moving kitchen environment
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and lead kitchen staff, setting the tone for a positive and accountable shift
• Own the quality, consistency, and presentation of every dish
• Master recipes and techniques across every station to train and support the team
• Assist with purchasing, invoices, and inventory to keep kitchen running smoothly
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards throughout the shift
