Job summary

Walgreens in Ware, MA is seeking a store team member to help run the shop in the absence of management. You’ll open and close the store, handle cash, start up systems, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state; We will consider applicants with arrest records per policy.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Process returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change as requested.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and mentor team on service best practices.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and pricing signage; assist with vendor deliveries and backroom duties.
• Assist with pharmacy out window as requested and ensure compliance with regulations.
