Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a proactive team member to support daily operations in a retail setting. You will open/close the store in the absence of management, manage cash handling tasks, and ensure the floor and stockroom readiness for business hours.

You will engage customers, assist with products and services, and resolve issues to create a memorable shopping experience. You will also help with vendor deliveries, pricing, inventory counts, and display maintenance to meet store standards.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Registers all related sales and manages pricing, voids, and price verifications.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and store cleanliness.
• Assists with vendor deliveries and backroom operations.
• Supports displays, signage, and stock rotation to ensure visibility and compliance.
