Job summary

Walgreens in Kentucky is seeking a capable Retail Key Holder to support store operations in the absence of management. You will handle opening and closing, required systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.

You will deliver a distinctive customer experience, assist with inventory control, pricing changes, and basic bookkeeping, and coach teammates as needed. This full-time, on-site role is based in Highland Heights.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring floor/stock room are ready for business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains inventory counts and assists with pricing changes and store signage to support accurate pricing.
• Assists with basic bookkeeping activities and helps with end-of-day reconciliations.
• Supports management in reviewing orders, vendor deliveries, and reverse logistics as needed.
• Assists with displays, resets, and seasonal promotions to drive sales.
