Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking an attentive Retail Key Holder to step in when store management is away, handling cash, opening the floor and stockroom for the business day, and ensuring all systems are ready.

You will greet customers, resolve issues, assist with products and services, manage pricing and displays, support with vendor deliveries, and help maintain store cleanliness and compliance.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Handles cash drops, returns, refunds, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Manages store keys, vendor deliveries, pricing, displays, and inventory in coordination with management.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities; ensures signage and pricing are correct.
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance and separating food items per policy.
• Assists with pharmacy out window as requested.
• Adheres to state/local laws regarding regulated products and maintains compliant operations.
