Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Georgia is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead daily drive-in operations and supervise staff during shifts. You will train and direct team members, manage staffing and opening/closing duties, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding company standards.

Responsibilities include handling guest and employee issues, monitoring costs, maintaining records, and enforcing health, safety, and labor regulations. Regular attendance is expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of restaurant or retail management experience.
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Knowledge of labor laws (federal/state/local) and health and safety regulations.
• Basic computer, math, and reading skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Train, manage, direct, coach, lead, and assign drive-in employees during shift.
• Lead and manage operations during shift to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Manage staffing levels during shift.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Handle guest issues/concerns during shift and escalate when needed.
• Monitor costs by managing food, labor, paper, and inventory during shift.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of drive-in records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Perform all station duties as needed during shift.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness to operational standards.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
