Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dependable team member to support store operations and customer experience. You will open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and transactions, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the day.

You will greet customers, assist with products, and model Walgreens service standards to deliver a delightful experience. The role includes assisting with vendor deliveries, cash handling, inventory accuracy, pricing signage, and basic bookkeeping.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and maintain store standards.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups, cash handling, and preparing floor and stock room for the business day.
• Completes product returns, voids, refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to registers.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting and assisting with products and services, resolving issues for a positive experience.
• Models customer service best practices and shares them with team members while maintaining Walgreens service traits.
• Holds store keys to open/close as needed; coaches team on warehouse and vendor ordering and backdoor deliveries.
• Registers sales, tracks scanning errors, price verifications, and price changes; processes voids.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and store cleanliness; assists with pricing signage and local regulatory compliance.
• Assists with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports and ledgers; supports displays, stock rotations, and merchandising.
