Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate who can open and close the store in the absence of management, perform cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are prepared for business. You will greet customers, assist with products and services, and deliver a consistently delightful experience.

You will also support inventory accuracy, coordinate vendor deliveries, manage pricing and signage, and assist with merchandising, displays, and basic store maintenance.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Handles returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change at registers.
• Delivers a distinctive customer experience by greeting customers and assisting with products and services.
• Registers sales accurately and tracks price verifications, voids, and errors.
• Assists with backroom deliveries, vendor orders, and inventory counts.
• Maintains store cleanliness, pricing, and signage to comply with regulations.
• Supports management with displays, resets, and promotions; participates in merchandising and stock rotation.
