Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at our travel plaza location. You will train team members, ensure brand standards, handle cash, and maintain food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policies.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products; maintain product knowledge.
• Assist in training new team members; follow brand standards and procedures.
