Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers in New Jersey seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at our travel plaza, supervise team members, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold brand standards and food-safety procedures.

You will train new hires, manage opening/closing tasks, handle POS transactions, support product quality, and contribute to a fast-paced, guest-focused environment with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and delivering customer service.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Able to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly, energetic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prep, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and company policies.
• Inform leadership of observations or issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
