Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate to open/close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, and prepare the floor for the business day. You will assist with deliveries, pricing, and inventory accuracy while delivering a positive customer experience.

You will also support team members with cash handling, returns, and customer inquiries, ensuring policy compliance and orderly store presentation. This role emphasizes reliable, friendly service and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and ensure readiness for the business day.
• Manage customer service, returns, refunds, and price verifications with accuracy.
• Maintain store organization, inventory counts, displays, and regulatory compliance.
• Operate the front-end registers, process sales, voids, and cash drops as needed.
• Assist with vendor deliveries, backroom operations, and general store maintenance.
• Support pharmacy out window when requested and ensure signage and pricing accuracy.
