Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an associate to help open and close the store in the absence of store management, manage cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are prepared for the business day. The role emphasizes delivering a distinctive customer experience and assisting customers and patients with products and services.

The candidate will engage customers, support inventory and displays, and maintain accurate pricing while complying with policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and pricing, and supports displays and promotions.
• Ensures compliance with store policies, safety regulations, and local regulatory requirements.
