Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a retail associate capable of opening and closing the store in the absence of management. You will handle cash, refunds, price changes, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business.

You will also provide a distinctive customer experience by greeting customers, offering help, and resolving questions. The role includes assisting with vendor deliveries, inventory accuracy, planogram execution, and basic pricing tasks to support local regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Open/close store and prepare cash handling when management is absent.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backroom operations.
• Register sales, handle price changes, and manage refunds/voids.
• Support displays, inventory, and basic pricing with signage compliance.
• Assist with pharmacy out window where allowed and maintain store cleanliness.
• Communicate tasks to team and report issues to management.
• Attend training and complete requested PPLs.
