Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an associate to support store operations and customer service. You will open and close the store in the absence of management, process cash, handle returns, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business.

You’ll also assist with vendor deliveries and maintain price accuracy. In this role, you’ll engage customers, resolve issues, coach team members on service best practices, and help maintain store standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to open/close the store in absence of management and handle cash correctly.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, refunds, and cash drops to the safe; provide change as needed.
• Engage customers and patients to deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and price changes; ensure signage and displays are compliant.
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks and general store maintenance as requested.
